Yes, I have fallen prey to ORC syndrome. That's obsessive Ravelry Checking syndrome, for those uninitiated. It snuck up on me fast, and turned into a full blown compulsion in a short space of time. I have an excuse, you see...
I'm currently in the process of being added as a designer on Ravelry, so it only makes sense that I obsessively check my account every five minutes to see if they have sent me an approval. I'm finding out that yes, the process may take the week+ that they advertise it to take. I can understand why, but that doesn't make it any easier...
*sigh* I'm so impatient! It's like I'm waiting for Christmas morning :)
Anyhoo...as soon as I get the approvals and such, I'm going to put frankensweater up as a free Rav download. If you want a pdf before then, please feel free to hit me up and I'll email it forth.
I'm sooooo bored today! At least the obsessive Rav checking is giving me something to do...I'm terribly antsy, since I woke up in a semi-agitated state that sometimes happens before I end up with a killer migraine. I'm being super careful about what I eat and drink so it wont push my head over the edge into "Migraine Hell" territory. (ah, the illusion of control!) And, as always, I have the Excedrin at the ready.
I came to work without a project to keep me company, and I haven't started any new knitting since I finished momma sockey, got the crown mountain crack, and started spinning my brains out.... Boygenius is cracking jokes about being a spinning wheel widower since I've finished 3 bobbins full in the last 3 days, and I'll be ready to ply it tonight, so I'll still be hanging out in front of the wheel. I've really been in the zone, and I'm really excited to see what it looks like as a three ply.
Then I'll have to start thinking about what it wants to be when it grows up...I'm already giddy!
