So, since I couldn't show you my finished 70's sofa chickadee cowl ( it remains uncompleted purse knitting as we speak) I thought I would show you the pretty finished chickadee cowl that I made out of hand spun Crown Mountain Farms in "Shes' Like a Rainbow". If you haven't experienced the beauty that is crown mountain farms fiber, and you are a spinner, you need to go like, 10 minutes ago to the website and buy yourself a present.
I made this over the course of the Sunday before Memorial day so I could take it and give it to Momgenius on Monday while I was off work. She loves woolly neck things. It turned out to be a hair shorter than she normally likes, but I ran out of yarn. She took it like a champ.
I loves me a FO.
I also love spending the quality time with Momgenius and Dadgenius. Why, I think I would hang out with them for fun, even if they hadn't spawned me. That's saying something.

Love the cowl. Love the photo (great light). Can't wait to hear your stories of Peru.
Really, everything I see of yours is gold!
