The rest of yesterday was blissfully uneventful. No drama, no more cat sabotage, and I even managed to get a bit of work done on the border for my Lacy Hug Me Tight....and there was only a wee bit of frogging because I didn't like the looks of the join that I made when I started up on a new ball of yarn....It was self imposed frogging, because I could have left it as it was but it would have angered the knitting gods since I tried to start the ball in the middle of a row. It was not my most shining moment of knitting brilliance, but it was a quick enough fix and the results looked so much better!
My coffee coated merino wool from yesterday morning dried out, but it is now fated to become a felting project since I couldn't pull it back from the abyss. The good news is that there is enough in quantity that I should be able to make something really cool out of it as soon as I figure out what the something should be. Even if it just ends up a bluezillion cat toys for donation to the humane society it won't be going to waste.
I've been itchy to buy more yarn so I have it all set for my next project after the Lacy Hug Me Tight, but I'm totally trying to resist the temptation lest I become a yarn floozy of epic magnitude. I really need to do a bit o the stash busting before I get all crazy with adding more to the stack. Spinning adds enough to it already! I think Webs smells my weakness and schedules yarn sales accordingly :)
Must...Knit...Projects from the stash! I need to be strong. For the love of all things woolly-I have sweater quantities people! And yet, I think the only thing that is keeping me from major yarn splurge is the thought that I need to save all my extra scratch for the trip to Peru in May. The days pass quickly and the count down is on!
Well, I guess I should do some actual work so I should split. Hopefully I can shoot some progress pics and post em either tonight or tomorrow. Evidence of the knitting is always good. Catch you on the flip side.

A trellis scarf as a felting project?
I've seen one in person and...wow!
Let me try that with a tiny url:

And maybe even a direct link:
trellis scarf
The one I saw in person was actually better. It had larger "holes" in the trellis pattern.
(Sorry to take up so many comments.)
