NOOOOOOO!

LAN Peru does not let people knit aboard their planes, nor carry knitting needles in unchecked luggage. This means no knitting!

(please excuse the sniffling as I weep quietly to myself for a moment.)

OK. Back to business.

So, this no knitting means I'm down, but not entirely out. I 'll still be able to take some knitting in my checked luggage, which might still allow me to be able to make the following statement at some point in the future:

"What, this old thing? I knit this in a lodge in the Amazon Jungle."

Which is much more impressive than saying:

"What this old thing? I knit this on a bus in Louisville, Kentucky."
