Once more, with feeling.

I came home yesterday to a brand spanking new fridge. Yep a shiny new hotpoint that is now holding a grand total of 3 heads of romaine lettuce, a bell pepper, a jar of olives, my mondo hi-gungo jar of yeast from Costco, a squeeze bottle of mustard, and 4 cans of red bull. More fun grocery store action will happen tonight to get back to full operating quantities. So yay!

Now, I know that you must be asking yourself what major appliance or life-comfort system was the next to give up its tenuous hold on operation? Who was the next to die in this installment of what kind of year is this shaking up to be?

The answer is the furnace. ( I wouldn't blame you if you totally don't believe me that another thing would bite it in such a short amount of time, but its true!)

That's right. The furnace decided to go belly up last night. This time maintenance was there in a flash, checked it out, realized that they needed an honest to god HVAC tech to come check it out and do repairs, and told us that someone would be out to fix it this morning. We borrowed a little space heater from Boygenius's mom so we could keep out tootsies toasty till it was time to snuggle in for the night.

After this cavalcade of mechanical failure, and the assumption that this kind of thing comes in threes, I'm hoping that this furnace thing will complete the cycle.

So, hopefully this will be the last post about this kind of thing for a while. I'm totally dreaming of the days of getting back to knitting and spinning goodness!

Yep, it will start right after that nap I was supposed to have yesterday :)
