This was one of those fine Monday mornings when you just don't wanna get out of bed. The siren song of the school basement just wasn't strong enough to make me want to drag my sorry keister out of the comfiness into a day filled with phone answering and obsessive ravelry checking. (of course I would be obsessively checking Rav if I stayed at home, so that part isn't much of an argument...)
Part of the reason that I wanted to stay at home is the fact that I spent much of the weekend cleaning the apartment....and when I say cleaning I mean CLEANING! (you can actually tell that there is a bed in the bedroom, and the boy and I got around to doing all kinds of fun installation projects that needed doing, like putting up the cool birch tree curtain panels we bought at the IKEA a few weeks back). The place actually is so comfortable and cool, that I don't think I will want to de-nest for quite some time.
With all the cleaning, I still managed time to purchase a bit more sock yarn for ye olde stash ( a little Online Supersocke in a colorway that I thought was pretty ugly in the skein, but I'm rolling the dice and hoping that it will kick some tail when its all knitted up since I'm trying to get a little more bold with my color choices), and get measurements for a few random family member's feet on record in the little black book I keep.
