Step right up!

I've got another confession to make. I was trying to be good, and rest my wrist. I promise I was, but I couldn't do it. The woolly temptation was too strong. I've got a monkey on my back. It's the only way that I can explain the fact that I spent a portion of this weekend with 2 butter knives taped to my wrist.

Yep, I said butter knives. I was trying to see if I could successfully knit if I stabilized my wrist to keep it from moving while I knit. I wanted to see if I would work before I dropped a twenty on one of those fancy wrist braces so I "MacGyvered" the ever loving out of it.

My wrist was on lock down. It wouldn't budge in its stainless steel prison, however, the rest of me was stretching into positions previously only known to cast members of Cirque du Solei. and I managed to eek out a few oddly misshapen, badly tensioned rows. Glorious, oddly misshapen, badly tensioned rows. I'm thinking if I keep it up, I'll be able to take this act on the road.

Ladies and Gentlemen! Step right up!...see the amazing Skeingenius and her
fantastic knitting contortions! Watch her needles fly as she bends herself into unbelievable
positions in order to keep from bending her wrist!

...yeah, I'm so gonna run away and join the Circus.
