Since I didn't have much to show you when I started up the most recent pair of socks I've been knitting I wanted to wait until you could actually tell what I was knitting before I posted some pics. So here they are:

Here is the proof that I love me some socks and I loves me some monkey. I also felt the need to throw a 'lil bit-o-lace onto this kool aid dyed madness since we last talked. Is it worth the wait to see if unnecessary monkeys and random lace patterns will fall haphazardly in the the photos of knitting? I say yes! (and hope you agree.)

Ah, and we end our photo tour of the socks with the generic, non-monkey inhabited shot of the socks as they are in their natural habitat. Please exit to the left, and watch your step as the tram comes to a complete stop. And as always, thanks for visiting Skeingenius :)

I love the color of the socks.
I bow to your sock-making prowess (as well as your uncanny skill at including a gratuitous monkey in this post).
Thanks Meg! Its my first kool aid dying experiment and I was pretty psyched by the way it looks knitted up.
Hey Karen,
What would life be without gratuitous monkey appearances? I'm also loving the new header on your blog. Looks good girl!
