Alright. Now I'm getting miffed.
After what feels like a million years of waiting, I still have not been able to get my new circular needles. Weep!! Sob!! Sigh!! General breast beating and howling....
Gah! If I had known it would take this long to get to a location that sells needles...I could have mail ordered em faster! No fair! whine, whine, whine! Pout! pout!
Am I as obnoxious as I feel right about now? Yeah? I thought so.
So, since I am forever cursed to never own the wondrous size 8 - 16" circular needles, I must ignore the project that I planned on doing. So its time to regroup.
I'm thinking mittens. Like without a pattern, straight from scratch mittens.
That's right. Mittens. Why you may ask?
The simple answer? Because my hands are cold.
Ah, but if I don't knit mittens I can do mean and horrid things to boygenius for keeping me from my precious new needles... like maybe sneaking up behind him and putting my icy cold hands on his neck!!!
Ha! That'll learn him. You don't stand between a girl and her needle purchases. Its just not right!
Lets hope for boygenius' sake that I get these mittens rolling now. I also need to get them going for your sake, dear reader. That way you aren't forced to look at any more of my excessive punctuation. Exclamation points for everyone!!!!

Your excessive punctuation doesn't scare me! I just knit mittens myself, my first pair. They went wonderfully fast with chunky yarn, only a couple of days. You can do it!! Make a date with boygenius to get your needles. Threaten him that if he doesn't commit, a set of Addis will be arriving in a day by FedEx. And that he will have footed the bill. Lastly, put your needle info on Ravelry. It has saved my unorganized butt a lot of grief. Now at least I know what color I'm supposed to be looking for when I'm digging through the drawer. Yay for mittens! Yay for helping me rationalize maybe dropping some green on a new set of k.p options or holding out for the addi clicks if the boy won't play ball (like I needed much convincing on that *lol)
